St. Agatha provides assistance through St. Vincent de Paul to those in need in our immediate neighborhood .  The  St. Agatha Conference is comprised of parishioners who volunteer their time and offer donations to support the Sellwood/Moreland community.

Please consider bringing a donation with you to Mass.
   •  Bring items for donation to the altar, including nonperishable foods, toiletries, diapers, and
        laundry & dish detergent.
   •  Place an envelope with cash or check donations in the collection basket at Mass.

Did you know…

   Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads men and women
to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering.

   St. Vincent de Paul relies on the St. Agatha parish & school families to support those in need in our immediate
      Sellwood/Moreland community.

  Thanks to your generous support, in 2019 St. Agatha’s Conference has
     •  assisted 900+ people in the Sellwood area with food boxes
     • provided over $6,000 in rent or utility assistance.  We expect this to increase during the coming year due
        to the restless economy.

Ways you can help…

Give Money
St. Vincent de Paul can purchase subsidized food for 10 cents a pound, maximizing your monetary donation.   A $10.00 donation can purchase an incredible 100 pounds of food from the Oregon Food Bank!

Give Items
Nonperishable foods, paper products, diapers, toiletries, laundry and dish soaps are all needed and some cannot be purchased with food stamps.

Give Time
Your most precious commodity is you! Sign up to volunteer.  Provide ongoing volunteer assistance.   Some volunteers help every week and some just an hour or two per month.  Can you help?
